Qualification Information
This qualification is regulated by TQUK and undertaken online. It provides learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to work effectively as a team leader, floor manager, supervisor, team coordinator, or in any other team leader position.
Duration of the Qualification
There is no set time for completion of the qualification. Most learners complete the qualification within four to five months, although some learners may complete within a shorter time frame.
Content of the Qualification
The qualification covers are range of topics including planning, allocating and monitoring the work of a team, giving feedback to colleagues, supporting team members, managing conflict, resolving problems, obtaining supplies and leading team meetings.
Assessment Activities
The qualification is assessed through the completion of short assignments, observations, expert witness testimonies and evidence gathered when leading a team in a work environment.
Entry Requirements
Learners are expected to have a minimum standard of literacy at Level 2 and work in a team leading environment.
