This qualification is undertaken online through our easy-to-use Online Qualification System.
Qualification Information
This qualification is suitable for anyone who wishes to gain further knowledge and understanding of the role of an assessor, and the assessment process.
Duration of the Qualification
You will have up to one year to complete the qualification, although most learners complete it with Educating UK within one months. Some learners may complete within a shorter time frame.
Content of the Qualification
The qualification covers one unit:
Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
A range of topics are covered within the unit including the role of an assessor, legislation relating to assessing, types and methods of assessment, holistic assessment and planning assessments, quality assurance and standardisation, giving feedback on assessments, equality and diversity, reflective practice, and CPD.
Qualification Assessment Activities
The qualification is assessed through the completion of written assessments.
